The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.openssh.com\/releasenotes.html\">release notes<\/a> for OpenSSH 9.1 state:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code><code>This release disables RSA signatures using the SHA-1 hash algorithm\nby default. This change has been made as the SHA-1 hash algorithm is\ncryptographically broken, and it is possible to create chosen-prefix\nhash collisions for &lt;USD$50K &#91;1]<\/code><\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>To work around this, you could edit <code>\/etc\/ssh\/sshd_config<\/code> on the Ventura server and add this line to allow use of your existing key:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>PubkeyAcceptedAlgorithms +ssh-rsa<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Or, you could create a new key using a different algorithm. Arq 7 supports ed25519 keys, so you could<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>ssh-keygen -t ed25519 <\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>to create a new public\/private key pair.
